Legacy to AI-Native Migration

Wrap and extend existing systems with intelligent interfaces, or modernise them outright. Without the big-bang rewrite.

In practice

AIM Housing had a complex, partly digitised set of operations and could not freeze the work for a year. We rebuilt iteratively: field operations on mobile, back-office workflow on the web, and an AI layer for prioritising and routing work. The existing operation kept running.

The system you've got, with the intelligence you need

Most Australian organisations are not running greenfield infrastructure. They have line-of-business systems, decades of data, and processes that work. They also have a growing list of stakeholders asking why everything cannot be smarter.

The answer is rarely a rewrite. It is an intelligent layer over what you have. Then, deliberately, modernising the pieces that hold you back the most.

Our approach

  1. Discovery: what's the system, what's the data, what's the pain.
  2. Wrap, don't replace: expose existing functionality through MCP servers, APIs, or event streams the AI layer can use.
  3. Augment: add intelligent retrieval, summarisation, drafting, and decision-support where users feel the pain.
  4. Modernise selectively: where the legacy system is genuinely blocking progress, replace it module-by-module with measurable success criteria.

We use incremental, evidence-based migrations.
